Gillian Anderson did a very good work. The episode is very delicate as, for once, a women wrote the script. We can obviously see that Gillian struggled to find a paranormal aspect inside the storytelling. It's always funny to see that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny always tried to get away from the true X-Files. But it's obvious that they wanted to try something else after years of classic paranormal stories, usually with a killer having paranormal abilities. The realisation also isn't classic and tries to be original. I liked it. And the acting between her and her ancient lover is really good. As I said, a very delicate episode. I give it a 4 out of 5.
